My name is Chantel and I have a 2011 Mazda 2 Yozora Limited Edition. I bought my 1st car from Dilan Rathnapala, which was the green colour Mazda 2 GX. He was very helpful and educated me with my choice in cars, the history of the company, and the safety, I was very pleased with his services and even after I was done with my purchase he always checked up on me and my car. Unfortunately, that same year I got into a horrible accident with my 1st Mazda. I got T – boned from the side and my car was totaled. However, I was inside and completely safe and I’m alive today because of my car. I was so grateful about my life and the car choice that I bought the same model again. If it wasn’t for Dilan’s great service, education and hospitality I wouldn’t be here to tell this testimony.
Last year summer time, I brought my 2011 Mazda 3 GS in for an oil change. While I was waiting, I was looking around in the showroom looking at other cars while my car was being worked on. As I was looking around, Dilan approached me and asked me if I needed help. I told him that I’m just looking around while my car is being serviced. We began talking and I told him that I like the 2012 Mazdaspeed3 parked outside. Dilan told me that it belonged to one of the guys in service. I told him I always wanted that car and he said we’ll make it happen. He offered to get me coffee and invited me to sit at his table so we could discuss it. Dilan asked me a few questions about my car so we could work out some numbers. I told him that I drove a 2011 Mazda3 GT (That’s what I thought I drove). He then asked me if he could see the car. So he went to the back to look and when he came back, Dilan said to me that my car wasn’t the GT model, but it was a GS. I looked at him confused because I remember when I bought my car last year at another Mazda dealership they sold me a GT not a GS. He then showed me pictures to show me the difference between the 2 trims. That pissed me off because the sales person at the other dealership screwed up and sold me the wrong model. He then comforted me and said that how about I help you to get a brand new Mazdaspeed3. We sat down and began talking business. In the end, I walked out with a brand new 2012 Mazdaspeed3 for cheaper monthly payments than my 2011 Mazda3 GS. I was amazed that I was able to get a top of the line Mazda vehicle for less than my older Mazda3. On the day I came to pick up my Mazdaspeed3, Dilan went through all the warranty details, every single feature of the car, and answered all my questions. He was so helpful that day and he is every time I come in for a visit. Dilan always greets you with a warm smile and always offers coffee or hot chocolate. Till this day, he’s the best sales representative I have ever dealt with. It’s always nice to talk with someone who’s young and knows every single detail about all the cars on the lot. Looking at pictures off all his previous cars, you can tell that he knows what he is talking about. Dilan talks from experience, not from what he read in a book. We recently moved from the GTA to the Windsor area and were in the market for a CX-5. We had always bought cars in Toronto but didn't want to make the trip back - so we visited every dealership between Windsor and Toronto and no one could beat our #1 salesperson Dilan Rathnapala @ Brampton Mazda. "So much knowledge... not just a sale" I walked into Mazda and walked around, passing several sales people and as I was about to walk out, Dilan asked if I needed any help. Thank you for taking me seriously and not just walking away and dismissing me probably because I was alone and a young female. Not once did Dilan try to sell me a car. Dilan was very honest, respectful and trust worthy. I was trading in my car for a new family car with a few bells and whistles I was not familiar with. He sat with me and explained each feature. He also shared the safety features such as the crash test ratings. I think I said " yes I want to buy this car" twice before we actually started paper work. I didn't feel pressured and in fact I still felt like I was in charge of my car buying process. I would HIGHLY recommend Dilan...He walked around with a smile on his face and looked like he actually enjoyed his job... ( some other sales people could learn a thing or two from him)
After checking out a number of dealerships and test-driving a few cars I went to Mazda of Brampton. I'd been looking at CX-5s for a couple of months at that point and the car was a very competitive price given its year and mileage.
I went for a test-drive with Dilan, who was friendly and helpful without being pushy. After thinking it over for a few days, I went back and bought the car, a process that was hassle and stress-free, again thanks to Dilan.
I picked my car up the Saturday of thanksgiving weekend and drove it home. On Sunday, the car would not start. It would turn over, but would not idle. I called Dilan on his personal cell which he had provided, and he contacted the dealership. Though they were closed on the Sunday and holiday Monday, on Tuesday they towed my car the hour back to Burlington. Dilan came in to oversee things, even though it was his day off. They set me up with a rental car at no cost, though I did not end up needing one as the guys in the shop had my car running again in a couple of hours (it was an air-flow sensor problem-they fixed it free of charge.)
I've now had the car for a month, putting on 5000km with no other issues. good price, great service, and even though there was an initial mechanical problem, they fixed it quickly and professionally. Throughout the whole process Dilan was in touch with me, making sure everything was going smoothly, and I'm definitely glad i decided to go with Mazda of Brampton.
Our family is growing and so we needed a vehicle larger than our 2013 Mazda 3. We spoke to Dilan at Mazda of Brampton and he was able to get us out of our existing lease early and into a beautiful new CX-9 penalty free! Other dealerships Dilan went above and beyond in every step of the transaction... even overcoming some inventory issues for us, as Mazda was right between the 2017 and 2018 models. Our all-weather mats were on back-order when we came to pick up the new car. Dilan picked them up and personally hand-delivered them! Mazda of Brampton is a busy dealership, so where there were sometimes quite a few messages back and forth, whenever I was speaking with someone, I was always treated like a VIP client. No wonder they're so busy. Dilan loves the cars and he loves the people, and he makes that clear at every step.

I wanted to get the new Mazda 3 as soon as I saw them on the roads recently, so I went into the dealership to look for it, and was immediately met by Dilan. I've met with a ton of car dealers and salespeople before, but I've never met anyone who believes in the brand and the car as much as Dilan does. His collection of Mazda's over the years impressed me a lot. On top of that, he was the most friendly and genuine person as well, and really worked hard to get me the best deal possible. "First Mazda" Got our first Mazda here. We were looking for a starter car for our daughter and we've circled around the Brampton Automall. We encountered this terrific guy named Dilan.
